Translation:

Geedar ne socha ke woh sab se hoshiyaar janwar hai.

Usay sher aur bheriye ko chalaaki se dhoka dene par fakhar tha.

English:

The jackal thought he was the smartest animal.

He felt proud of outwitting the lion and the wolf.

But his tricks wouldn’t last forever.

They decided to stay away from him.

No one wanted to be his friend.

Translation:

Geedar ke paas koi dost nahi tha jo us ki madad kare.

Jab khana khatam ho gaya, woh tanha aur bhooka mehsoos karne laga.

English:

The jackal had no friends to help him later.

When the food was gone, he felt lonely and hungry.

Translation:

Jaise hi geedar tanha ghoomne nikla, sher aur bheriya ek ghane darakht ke neeche baith gaye, purani baaton ka ishteraaq karte aur hanste rahe ke kaise ek baar unhein chalaaki se dhoka diya gaya tha.

Unhein ehsaas hua ke mil jul kar kaam karna jhoot par larnay se zyada sukoon deta hai.

Us din ke baad woh wafadaar dost ban gaye, aur saath saath shikaar karte aur khaate rahe.

English:

Just as the jackal wandered off alone, the lion and the wolf sat beneath a shady tree, sharing stories and laughing about how they had once been tricked.

They realized that working together brought more peace than fighting over lies.

From that day on, they became loyal friends, hunting and feasting side by side.
