Translation:

Hudhud ne haathi ki aankhon ko choanch se chubhaya, "Aoww!" haathi ne cheekha.

English:

Translation:

Haathi mendak ki kirkaraahat ki pairwi karta raha, yeh soch kar ke yeh paani ki taraf le jaye gi.

Woh awaaz ke peeche qadam ba qadam chalta gaya aur daldal tak pohanch gaya.

Haathi ko ehsas na hua ke woh daldal ki taraf ja raha hai.

English:

The elephant followed the frog’s croak, thinking it led to water.

He followed the sound step by step and reached the swamp.

The elephant didn’t realize it was heading towards a swamp.

Elephant meets its downfall

Translation:

Haathi ne mansoobay ke mutabiq daldal mein qadam rakha.

Woh keechad mein gehrai tak doob gaya. Us ne madad ke liye pukara, magar koi na aaya.

Woh phans gaya aur be-bas ho gaya, aakhir kar apni ghaltiyon ki wajah se halaak ho gaya.

English:

The elephant stepped into the swamp as per the plan.

Sank deep into the mud. He cried for help, but no one came.

It becomes trapped and helpless, ultimately perishing due to its misdeeds.
