ఎప్పుడూ నీడలోనే ఉంటూ, దాని యజమాని ఎంత ప్రయత్నించినా కదలకుండా ఉండిపోయేది.

Translation:

Ee gāḍida chālā sōmaritanaṅgā uṇḍēdi, eppuḍū pani chēyakuṇḍā tappin̄chukōvālani chūstuṇḍēdi.

Eppuḍū nīḍalōnē uṇṭū, dāni yajamāni enta prayatnin̄chinā kadalakuṇḍā uṇḍipōyēdi.

Chivariki, gāḍida kaṣhṭapaḍi panichēyaḍaṁ yokka viluvanu arthaṁ chēsukoni, dāni yajamāniki vidhēyaṅgā mārindi.

English:

The donkey was lazy and always tried to avoid working.

He would lie down in the shade and refuse to move, no matter how much his owner pulled him.

In the end, the donkey learned the value of hard work and became loyal to his owner.

ఈ వ్యాపారి ఉప్పును అమ్ముతూ మరియు దూరప్రాంతాలకు రవాణా చేస్తూ ఉండేవాడు.

Ee vyāpāri uppunu am’mutū mariyu dūraprāntālaku ravāṇā chēstū uṇḍēvāḍu.

Atanu uppunu mōsukeḷlaḍāniki oka sōmari gāḍidanu upayōgin̄chēvāḍu, kānī ā gāḍida tarachugā pani nuṇḍi tappin̄chukōvaḍāniki padhakālu vēstū uṇḍēdi.

Vyāpāri gāḍidaku oka viluvaina pāṭhaṁ nērpin̄chāḍu, dāni valana ā jantuvu kaṣhṭapaḍi panichēyaḍaṁ yokka prāmukhyatanu arthaṁ chēsukundi.

English:

The merchant sold salt and had to transport it to faraway markets.

He used a lazy donkey to carry the salt, but the donkey often played tricks to avoid work.

The merchant taught the donkey a valuable lesson, which helped the animal understand the importance of hard work.
