కాకి తన ముక్కుతో ఒక గులకరాయిని తీసుకొని కుండలో వేసింది.

వెంటనే ఆ గులకరాయి నీటి అడుగుకు మునిగిపోయింది, మరియు నీరు కొద్దిగా పెరిగింది.

అది చూసి కాకి సంతోషించింది.

Translation:

Kāki tana mukkutō oka gulakarāyini tīsukoni kuṇḍalō vēsindi.

Ventane aa gulakarāyi neeti aḍuguku munigipōyindi, mariyu nīru koddigā perigindi.

Adi chusi kaaki santhoshinchindi.

English:

The crow picked up a pebble with his beak and dropped it into the pot.

Plop! The pebble sank to the bottom, and the water rise just a little.

This gave him hope.

కాకి మళ్ళీ మళ్ళీ గులకరాళ్ళను ఒక్కొక్కటిగా కుండలో వేసింది.

దానితో నీటి మట్టం నెమ్మదిగా పెరిగింది.

అప్పుడు కాకి మళ్ళీ నీరు త్రాగడానికి ప్రయత్నించింది, కానీ ఇంకా నీటిని అందుకోలేకపోయింది.

Translation:

Kāki maḷḷī maḷḷī gulakarāḷḷanu okkokkaṭigā kuṇḍalō vēsindi.

Dānitō nīṭi maṭṭaṁ nem’madigā perigindi.

Appuḍu kāki malli nīru trāgaḍāniki prayatnin̄chindi, kānī iṅkā nīṭini andukōlēkapōyindi.

English:

He repeated the process, dropping pebbles one by one into the pot.

The water level rise slowly higher.

The crow tried to drink again, but still couldn’t reach the water.

అలసిపోయినా, కాకి తన ఆశను వదులుకోలేదు.

మరిన్ని గులకరాళ్ళను సేకరించడానికి అది మళ్ళీ ఎగరడం మొదలుపెట్టింది.

అలా చేయడం వలన అది నీటిని త్రాగగలనని అనుకుంది.

Translation:

Alasipōyinā, kāki tana āśanu vadulukōlēdu.

Marinni gulakarāḷḷanu sēkarin̄chaḍāniki adi maḷḷī egaraḍaṁ modalupeṭṭindi.

Alā chēyaḍaṁ valana adi nīṭini trāgagalanani anukundi.

English:

Even though he was tired, the crow did not give up.

He flew to gather more pebbles.

And he knew his efforts would eventually pay off.

ప్రతీసారి దాని ఆశ మరింత పెరిగింది.

Translation:

Kāki munduku venukaku egurutū gulakarāḷḷanu tīsukostū undi.

Alā tīsukocchina rāḷḷanu kuṇḍalō vēsēdi.

Pratīsāri dāni āśa marinta perigindi.

English:

The crow flew back and forth, collecting pebbles.

He dropped them into the pot each time.

His determination grew stronger with each trip.
