A crow searching for water

ఎండ ఎక్కువగా ఉన్న ఒక రోజున, ఎగురుతుండగా, కాకికి దాహం వేసింది.

అది ఎగురుతూ త్రాగడానికి నీళ్ల కోసం వెతికింది.

అలా నీరు దొరికే ప్రదేశం కోసం వెదుకుతూఉంది.

Translation:

Eṇḍa ekkuvagā unna oka rōjuna, egurutuṇḍagā, kākiki dāhaṁ vēsindi.

Adi egurutjuu trāgaḍāniki nīḷla kōsaṁ vetikindi.

Alaa nīru dorikē pradēśaṁ kōsaṁ vedukutū undi.

English:

On a sunny day, while flying, the crow felt thirsty.

He flew and searched for water to drink.

His thirst made him determined to find a water source.

కాకి నీళ్ళ కోసం చాలా ఇళ్ల మీదుగా ఎగిరింది.

కొంచెం నీళ్ళు దొరుకుతాయనే ఆశతో వెతుకుతుంది, కానీ నీళ్లు కనిపించలేదు.

ఎంత వెతికినా తాగడానికి ఒక్క చుక్క కూడా దొరకలేదు.

Translation:

Kāki nīḷḷa kōsaṁ chālā iḷla mīdugā egirindi.

Kon̄cHeṁ nīḷḷu dorukutāyanē āśatō vethukuthundi, kānī nīḷlu kanipin̄chalēdu.

Entha vetikinā tāgaḍāniki okka chukka kūḍā dorakalēdu.

English:

The crow flew over many houses, looking for water.

He hoped to find some, but no water was in sight.

Even after searching , he could not find a drop to drink.

Translation:

Alā vetukutū uṇḍagā, kāki oka iṇṭi daggara oka kuṇḍanu gamanin̄chindi.

Ā kuṇḍanu chūsi adi chālā santōṣhin̄chindi.

Utsāhantō, daanini daggaragā cūḍaṭāniki kindaku egirindi.

English:

As he continued his search, the crow noticed a pot near a house.

He was happy to see the pot.

Excited, he flew down to take a closer look.
