Translation:

Irandu aadugalum aatrin ethirethir karaigalai adaindhana.

Avai thirumbi ondraiondru paarththu vidaiperrana.

Irandu aadugalum thangal thanthiramaana thittaththaip patri perumaippattana.

English:

The two goats reached the opposite sides of the river.

They turned around and said goodbye to each other.

Both goats were proud of their clever plan.

Translation:

Kiraamaththilirundha aadugal indhak kadhaiyaik kaettana.

Sandaiyiduvadhu theervalla enbadhai avai unarndhana.

Avai sindhiththu, oruvarukkoruvar udhava mudivu seithana.

English:

The goats in the village heard the story.

They realized fighting is not the answer.

They decided to think and help each other.

அன்றிலிருந்து, ஆடுகள் பாலம் கடக்க ஒன்றுகொன்று உதவின.

அவை முறை வைத்துக்கொண்டன அல்லது ஒன்றாக வேலை செய்ய புத்திசாலித்தனமான வழிகளைக் கண்டறிந்தன.

Translation:

Andrilirundhu, aadugal paalam kadakka ondrukkondru udhavina.

Avai murai vaiththukkondana alladhu ondraaga velai seyya Puththisaaliththanamaana vazhigalaik kandarindhana.

Andhap paalam ellorukkum paathukaappaana idamaaga maariyadhu.

English:

From then on, the goats helped one another cross the bridge.

They took turns or found clever ways to work together.

The bridge became a safe place for everyone.

Translation:

Andhak kiraamam amaidhiyaagavum magizhchchiyaagavum irundhadhu.

Aadugal vayalkalil meyndhana, nadhiyilirundhu neer kudiththana.

Avai sandaiyidaamal ondraaga vaazhndhana.

English:

The village stayed peaceful and happy.

The goats grazed in the fields and drank from the river.

They lived together without fighting.
