English:

Ms. Stork thanked Mr. Fox politely but left feeling sad and hungry.

She realized Mr. Fox had tricked her.

However, she didn’t say anything and decided to teach him a lesson later.

Thiru. Nari urchagamaga irundhadhu, maelum oru periya virundhaik karpanai seidhadhu.

Adhu vara udanae oppukkondadhu.

English:

A few days later, Ms Stork invited Mr Fox to her house for lunch.

Mr. Fox was excited and imagined a big meal.

He quickly agreed to come.

Translation:

Thirumathi Naarai madhiya unavirkuch suvaiyaana iraiyaichiyaich samaiththadhu.

Thiru. Nari vandhapoadhu, adhu unavin vaasanaiyai nugarndhu, saappidak kaaththirukka mudiyavillai.

Idhuvarai illaadha sirandha unavaaga idhu irukkum endru adhu ninaiththadhu!

English:

Ms. Stork cooked tasty meat for lunch.

When Mr. Fox came, he smelled the food and couldn’t wait to eat.

He thought it would be the best meal ever!

Thirumathi Naarai unavai uyaramaana, kurugiya saadigalil parimaariyadhu.

Adhu oru saadiyai Thiru. Narikkuk koduththu, ondrai thanakkaaga vaiththukkondadhu.

Thiru. Nari kuzhappamaaga unarndhadhu, aanaal saappidath thayaaraaga irundhadhu.

English:

Ms. Stork served the food in tall, narrow vases.

She gave one vase to Mr. Fox and kept one for herself.

Mr. Fox felt confused but was ready to eat.
