"நான் முதலில் ரொட்டியைப் பார்த்தேன், அதனால் அது எனக்குச் சொந்தம்!" என்று கருப்புப் பூனை சொன்னது.

"கிராமத்திற்கு வருவது என் யோசனைதான்!" என்று வெள்ளைப் பூனை பதிலளித்தது.

வாதம் முடிவில்லாமல் தொடர்ந்தது, அவர்களால் ஒரு முடிவுக்கு வர முடியவில்லை.

Translation:

"Naan mudhalil rottiyai paarththaen, adhanaal adhu enakkuch sondham!" endru karuppup poonai sonnadhu.

"Kiramaththirku varuvadhu en yoasanaithaan!" endru vellaip poonai badhilaliththadhu.

Vaatham mudivillamal thodarnthadhu, avarkalal oru mudivukku vara mudiyavillai.

English:
