The goats lived together inside a cave

ஒரு காலத்தில், சில ஆடுகள் ஒரு வசதியான குகையில் வசித்து வந்தன.

அவர்கள் ஒன்றாக விளையாடி சாப்பிட்டார்கள்.

ஆடுகள் அருகில் இருந்த ஆபத்தை அறியவில்லை.

Translation:

Oru kaalatthil, sila aadugal oru vasathiyana kugaiyil vasiththu vandhana.

Avargal ondraaga vilaiyaadi sappittaargal.

Aadugal arugil irundha aapathai ariyavillai.

English:

Once upon a time, some goats lived in a cozy cave.

They played and ate together.

The goats were unaware of the danger nearby.

Wolves watching the goats

குகையிலிருந்து வெகு தொலைவில் இல்லை, ஓநாய்கள் ஒரு திட்டத்தை வகுத்தன.

"நம்முடைய சாப்பாட்டிற்கு ஆடுகளைப் பிடிப்போம்!" என்று ஒரு ஓநாய் சொன்னது.

அவர்கள் ஆடுகளை வேட்டையாட ஒன்றாக வேலை செய்தனர்.

Translation:

Kugaiyilirundhu vegu tholaivil illai, onaigal oru thittathai vaguthana.

"Nammudaiya sappattirku aadugalaip pidippom!" endru oru onai sonnadhu.

Avargal aadugalai vettaiyaada ondraaga velai seidhanar.

English:

Not far from the cave, the wolves made a plan .

“Let’s catch the goats for our meal!” said one wolf .

They worked together to hunt the goats.

இந்த ஆடுதான் எல்லாவற்றிலும் புத்திசாலி.

Translation:

Ondran pin ondraaga, onaigal aadugalaip pidithana.

Siridu nerathil, ore oru aadu mattum meedam irundhadhu.

Indha aaduthaan ellavatrilum puthisali.

English:

One by one, the wolves caught the goats .

Soon, only one goat was left.

This goat was the wisest of them all.

அவர்கள் ஒரு தந்திரமான யோசனையைக் கொண்டு வந்தார்கள்.

Translation:

Onaigal puthisalithanamaana aattai yemaatra mudivu seidhana.

Adhai pidikka namakku oru puthisalithanamaana thittam thevai, endru athan thalaivan sonnaan.

Avargal oru thanthiramana yosanaiyai kondu vanthaargal.

English:

The wolves decided to trick the wise goat .

“We need a clever plan to catch it,” said the leader.

They came up with a sneaky idea.
