குரங்கு கொடுத்த பழங்களை தன் மனைவி மிகவும் விரும்பியதாக முதலை குரங்கிடம் கூறியது.

அதன் பிறகு அது,குரங்கை அவர்களை சந்திக்க அழைத்தது.

குரங்கு மகிழ்ச்சி அடைந்து முதலையுடன் செல்ல ஒப்புக்கொண்டது.

Translation:

Kurangu kodutha pazhangalai than manaivi migavum virumbiyadhaga muthalai kurangidam kooriyadhu.

Athan piragu adhu,kurangai avargalai santhikka azhaithathu.

Kurangu magizhchi adainthu muthalaiyudan sella oppukkondathu.

English:

The crocodile told the monkey that his wife loved the fruits given by the monkey very much.

He then invited the monkey to visit them.

The monkey was happy and agreed to go with the crocodile.

அவர்கள் ஆற்றின் ஆழமான பகுதிக்குள் செல்லச் செல்ல, குரங்கு பயத்தை உணரத் தொடங்கியது.

அவன் ஏன் இவ்வளவு ஆழமாகச் செல்கிறாய் என்று முதலையிடம் கேட்டான்.

முதலை உடனே பதில் சொல்லவில்லை.

Translation:

Avargal aatrin aazhamana pagudhikkul sellach sella, kurangu bayathai unarath thodangiyadhu.

Avan yen ivvalavu aazhamaga selgiraai endru muthalaiyidam kettaan.

Muthalai udanae badhil sollavillai.

English:

The Monkey sat on the Crocodile’s back, and as they went deeper into the river, the monkey started to feel scared.

He asked the crocodile why they were going so deep.

The crocodile didn’t answer right away.

முதலை சிரித்துவிட்டு குரங்கிடம் தனது ரகசிய திட்டத்தை கூறியது.

அவன் தன் மனைவிக்கு குரங்கின் இதயம் வேண்டும் என்று சொன்னான்.

குரங்கு பயந்தாலும் அமைதியாக இருந்தது.

Translation:

Muthalai siriththuvittu kurangidam thanathu ragasiya thittathai kooriyadhu.

Avan than manaivikku kurangin idhayam vendum endru sonnaan.

Kurangu bayandhaalum amaidhiyaga irundhadhu.

English:

The crocodile smiled and told the monkey his secret plan.

He said his wife wanted the monkey’s heart.

The monkey was scared but stayed calm.

Action: மரத்தில் மறந்த தன் இதயத்தைப் பற்றி முதலையிடம் சொல்லும் குரங்கு

Monkey telling the crocodile about his heart which he forgot on the tree

குரங்கு தன்னைக் காப்பாற்றிக்கொள்ள விரைவாக யோசித்தது.

குரங்கு, தனது இதயத்தை மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் மனைவிக்காக கொடுப்பதாக முதலையிடம் கூறியது.

ஆனால் அது மரத்தில் தனது இதயத்தை மறந்துவிட்டதாகக் கூறியது.

Translation:

Kurangu thannai kaappaatrikolla viraivaga yosiththadhu.

Muthalaiyidam than idhayathai magizhchiyay manaivikkaga koduppadhaga koorum kurangu.

Aanal adhu marathil thanathu idhayathai marandhuvittadhaga kooriyadhu.

English:

The monkey thought quickly to save himself.

He told the crocodile that he would happily give his heart to the wife.

But he said he had forgotten his heart on the tree.
