शहाणी बकरी हसली आणि लांडग्याशी संमती दर्शवत म्हणाली की ती आपल्या मित्रांना घेऊन येईल.

शहाणी बकरीचं चतुर उत्तर ऐकून लांडगा गोंधळला, कारण त्याला असा धक्का बसेल अशी अपेक्षा नव्हती.

Translation:

Shahāṇī bakrī hasalī āṇi lāṇḍgyāshī sanmatī darshavat mhaṇālī kī tī āpalyā mitrānnā gheūn yeīl.

Tinē āpalyā vishvāsū mitrānchī nāvẽ sāṅgitlī: junā rākhāḍī āṇi taruṇ tapkirī — he don shikārī kutre — āṇi "Four Eyes", moṭhā kutrā, tyāchyā sāthīdārānsaḥ.

Shahāṇī bakrīcha chatur uttar aikūn lāṇḍgā goṅdhaḷlā, kāraṇ tyālā asā dhakkā basel asī apekṣā navhatī.

English:

The wise goat smiled and agreed with the wolf, saying she would bring her friends along.

She listed the names of her loyal friends: Old Gray and Young Tan, the two hounds, and Four Eyes, the big dog, along with their mates.

The wise goat’s clever response made the wolf uneasy, as it didn’t expect such a surprise.

जेव्हा लांडग्याने बकरीच्या ताकदवान मित्रांची नावे ऐकली, तेव्हा तो घाबरला.

बकरी कोणत्या आणि किती प्राणी घेऊन येईल, याची चिंता लांडग्याला वाटू लागली.

शहाणी बकरी आणि तिच्या मित्रांना हरवता येईल का, यावर त्याचा आत्मविश्वास डगमगू लागला.

Translation:

Jehvā lāṇḍgyāne bakrīchyā tākadvān mitrānchī nāvẽ aiklī, tehvā to ghābarlā.

Bakrī koṇtyā āṇi kitī prāṇī gheūn yeīl, yāchī chintā lāṇḍgyālā vāṭū lāglī.

Shahāṇī bakrī āṇi tichyā mitrānnā haravatā yeīl kā, yāvar tyāchā ātmavishvās ḍagmagū lāglā.

English:

The wolf became nervous when they heard the goat mention her powerful friends.

The wolf started to worry about the strength and number of animals the goat could bring.

The wolf began to second-guess their plan, unsure if they could outsmart the wise goat and her friends.

ते पटकन जंगलात पळाले, आणि शहाणी बकरी सुरक्षित आणि न सापडता राहिली.

Translation:

Bakrīchyā tākadvān mitrānchī bhītī vāṭūn lāṇḍge ātā ghābarle āṇi paḷūn jāṇyāchā nirṇay ghetlā.

Te paṭkan jangalāt paḷāle, āṇi shahāṇī bakrī surakṣit āṇi na sāpaḍtā rāhilī.

Shahāṇī bakrī hasalī, kāraṇ tilā māhīt hota kī tichyā chaṭkan vichārlelyā āṇi chatur śabḍāmule lāṇḍge kāyamche paḷūn gele.

English:

The wolves now terrified of the goat’s strong friends, decided to run away.

They quickly scampered into the forest, leaving the wise goat safe and unharmed.

The wise goat smiled, knowing her quick thinking and clever words had scared the wolves off for good.

Tilā nehmī lakṣāt hota kī veḷīch vichār karaṇe āṇi chaturāī vāpraṇe kitī mahatvāc̃ āhe.

Tī āpalyā chaṭkan vichār karaṇyāchyā āṇi chaturāīchyā buddhībaḷābaddal kr̥tajña hotī.
