Jēvhā madara gūja parata ālī tēvhā tilā ghara ōsāḍa disalē āṇi ticī mulē gāyaba hōtī.

English:

When Mother Goose came back, she found the house empty and her goslings gone.

She called out, and suddenly heard the voice of the youngest gosling.

She pulled the little one out and listened to what had happened.

Śēvaṭī, tyānnā lāṇḍagā ēkā jhāḍākhālī jhōpalēlā disalā.

English:

Mother Goose became furious and set out to find the wicked wolf.

She and her youngest gosling searched everywhere.

Finally, they saw the wolf sleeping under a tree.

Tyānē tyānnā vācavaṇyācā nirṇaya ghētalā.

English:

Mother Goose noticed the wolf’s stomach moving.

She realized her children were alive inside because they were swallowed whole.

She decided to rescue them.

Translation:

Ēkā mōṭhyā cākūnē, madara hansanē lāṇḍagyācē pōṭa kāḷajīpūrvaka kāpalē.

Sahā hansān̄cī pillē bāhēra ālī, tyānnā kāhīhī ijā jhālī nāhī paṇa tē ghābaralē.

Tyānē ā’īlā ghaṭṭa miṭhī māralī.

English:

Using a big knife, Mother Goose carefully cut open the wolf’s stomach.

Out came the six goslings, unharmed but scared.

They hugged their mother tightly.
