कावळा ही गोष्टीतील मुख्य व्यक्तीरेखा आहे. जरी तो खूप तहानलेला होता, तरीही त्याने हार मानली नाही.

Kāvaḷā hī goṣṭītīl mukhya vyaktīrēkhā āhē.Jarī tō khūp tāhānalēlā hōtā, tarīhī tyānē hār mānalī nāhī.

Tyānē āpalyā shahāṇapaṇācā upayōg karūn bhāṇḍyātūn pāṇī pīṇyācī kalpanā laḍhavalī.

Hī gōṣṭ āpalyālā śikavatē kī prayatna āṇi kalpakatēcyā jōrāvar kāhīhī śakya āhē.

English:

The Crow is the main character of the story. Even though the crow was very thirsty, he did not give up.

He used his clever idea to drink the water from the pot.

The story teaches us that with effort and ideas, anything is possible.

भांडे म्हणजे तो कंटेनर जिथे कावळ्याला पाणी सापडते.

Ka-ve hu-shaar pak-shee aa-het je bhan-dyamadh-ye pa-ni shodhu shak-taat.

English:

A pot is where the crow discovers water.

Translation:

Gost-it ka-va-la bhan-dya-toon pa-ni ka-dha-nyasaa-thi kha-de va-pa-ra-to.
