Translation:

Makkhī ne vaada kiya, "Main khushi se madad karoongi, chalo mere buddhimaan mendhak mitr se milte hain.

Makkhī ko mendhak ki buddhi aur uski majboot awaaz par bharosa tha.

Ekjut hokar ve chale, is ummeed mein ki mendhak koi samaadhaan batayega.

English:

The fly promised, "I’ll gladly help you, let’s meet my wise frog friend.

The fly believed the frog’s wisdom and strong voice.

United, they set out, hopeful the frog would help them find a solution.

Translation:

Makkhī ne gauraiyon aur kathphodwe ko jangal ke raaste apne buddhimaan mendhak ke paas le jaaya.

Jaise-jaise ve aage badhe, ummeed badhti gayi aur unke dukh kam hote gaye.

Aakhirkaar ve taalab pahunche, apni kahaani sunane ke liye tayyaar.

English:

The fly led the sparrows and woodpecker through the forest to his wise frog.

Hope grew as they traveled, each step easing their sorrow.

At last, they reached the pond, ready to share their story.

Translation:

Mendhak ne makkhī se kaha ki wah haathi ke paas jaaye.

Makkhī ko haathi ke kaanon mein ek madhur geet gaana chahiye.

English:

The frog told the fly to go to the elephant .

The fly should sing a nice song in the elephant’s ears.

The elephant will be happy and close his eyes.

मेंढक ने कठफोड़वे से कहा कि जब हाथी की आँखें बंद हों, तो वह उसकी आँखें चुभो दे।

फिर हाथी को प्यास लगेगी और वह पानी की तलाश करेगा। मेंढक दलदल में टर्राने लगेगा।

पानी समझकर हाथी दलदल में कदम रखेगा और फंस जाएगा।

Translation:

Mendhak ne kathphodwa se kaha ki jab haathi ki aankhen band hon, to vah uski aankhen chubho de.

Phir haathi ko pyaas lagegi aur vah paani ki talaash karega. Mendhak daldal mein tarraane lagega.

Paani samajhkar haathi daldal mein kadam rakhega aur fans jaayega.

English:

The frog told the woodpecker to prick his eyes when they are closed.

The elephant then gets thirsty and tries to find water. The frog then starts croaking in the swamp.

Thinking there’s water, the elephant steps into the swamp and gets stuck.
