Al-qird dhakī wa sarīʿ.

Yuḥibbu akl al-fawākih al-ḥulwah wa yaʿīsh ʿalā shajarah.

Yufakkiru bisurʿah wa yajid ṭuruqan dhakiyyah li-yabqā āminan.

English:

The monkey is smart and quick.

He loves to eat sweet fruits and lives on a tree.

He thinks fast and finds clever ways to stay safe.

التمساح قوي ويعيش في النهر.

هو ليس ذكيًا جدًا لكنه يستمع إلى زوجته.

يحاول خداع القرد لكنه لا ينجح.

Translation:

At-timsāḥ qawī wa yaʿīsh fī an-nahr.

Huwa laysa dhakiyyan jiddan, lakinahu yastamiʿ ilā zawjatihi.

Yuḥāwil khidāʿ al-qird lakinahu lā yanjaḥ.

English:

The crocodile is strong and lives in the river.

He is not very clever but listens to his wife.

He tries to trick the monkey but doesn’t win.
