ఒక మేక, "మనం పోరాడితే నీటిలో పడవచ్చు" అని చెప్పింది.

రెండవ మేక అంగీకరించింది.

"కలిసి పని చేద్దాం" అని అతను అన్నాడు.

Translation:

Oka mēka, "manaṁ pōrāḍitē nīṭilō paḍavaccu" ani cheppindi.

Reṇḍava mēka aṅgīkarin̄cindi.

"Kalisi pani chēddāṁ" ani atanu annāḍu.

English:

One goat said, "If we fight, we might fall in the water".

The second goat agreed.

Let’s work together," he said.

Translation:

Adi, "nuvvu nannu dāṭi veḷḷavacchu" ani cheppindi.

Reṇḍava mēka navvi, "adi man̄chi praṇāḷika!" Ani cheppindi.

English:

The first goat had a clever idea.

He said, "You can walk over me to cross".

వాళ్ళిద్దరూ తమ జట్టుకృషితో సంతోషంగా ఉన్నారు.

Translation:

Modaṭi mēka vantenapai paḍukundi.

Reṇḍava mēka jāgrattagā dāni mīdugā naḍichindi.

Vāḷḷiddarū tama jaṭṭukr̥ṣhitō santōṣhaṅgā unnāru.

English:

The first goat lay down on the bridge.

The second goat carefully walked over him.

They were both happy with their teamwork.

రెండవ మేక దాటిన తర్వాత మొదటి మేక లేచింది.

Translation:

Reṇḍava mēka dāṭina tarvāta modaṭi mēka lēchindi.

Atanu vantena avatali vaipu naḍavaḍaṁ prārambhin̄chāḍu.

Ippuḍu reṇḍu mēkalu tamaku nacchina chōṭiki veḷḷagalavu.

English:

The first goat got up after the second goat crossed.

He started walking to the other side of the bridge.

Now both goats could go where they wanted.
