मगराने माकडाला सांगितले की त्याच्या बायकोला माकडाने दिलेली फळं खूप आवडतात.

मग त्याने माकडाला त्यांच्याकडे येण्याचं आमंत्रण दिलं.

माकड आनंदी झाला आणि मगराबरोबर जाण्याला तयार झाला.

Translation:

Magaraane maakadala sangitale ki tyachya baaykola maakadane dileli phal khoop aavadtaat.

Mag tyane maakadala tyaanchyakade yenyaach aamtran dila.

Maakad aanandi zhaala aani magarabaroobar jaanyaala tayaar zhaala.

English:

The crocodile told the monkey that his wife loved the fruits given by the monkey very much.

He then invited the monkey to visit them.

The monkey was happy and agreed to go with the crocodile.

माकड मगराच्या पाठीवर बसला, आणि जेव्हा ते नदीत खोलवर गेले, तेव्हा माकडाला भीती वाटू लागली.

त्याने मगराला विचारले, “आपण इतके खोल का जात आहोत?”

मगराने लगेच उत्तर दिले नाही.

Translation:

Maakad magaraachya paathivar basla, aani jevha te nadit kholvar gele, tevha maakadala bheeti vaatu lagali.

Tyane magarala vichaarale, “Aapan itke khol ka jaat aahot?”

Magaraane lagech uttar dile nahi.

English:

The Monkey sat on the Crocodile’s back, and as they went deeper into the river, the monkey started to feel scared.

He asked the crocodile why they were going so deep.

The crocodile didn’t answer right away.

मगराने हसत हसत माकडाला आपला गुपित योजना सांगितली.

त्याने सांगितले की त्याच्या बायकोला माकडाचे हृदय हवे आहे.

माकडाला भीती वाटली पण तो शांत राहिला.

Maakadala bheeti vaatli pan to shaant rahila.

English:

The crocodile smiled and told the monkey his secret plan.

He said his wife wanted the monkey’s heart.

The monkey was scared but stayed calm.

माकडाने आपले वाचवण्यासाठी त्वरीत विचार केला.

त्याने मगरीला सांगितले की तो आनंदाने त्याच्या बायकोला आपले हृदय देईल.

पण त्याने सांगितले की त्याने आपले हृदय झाडावर विसरले आहे.

Translation:

Maakadane aaple vaachvanyasathi tvarit vichaar kela.

Tyane magarila sangitale ki to aanandane tyachya baaykola aaple hriday deil.

Pan tyane sangitale ki tyane aaple hriday zhaadavar visarale aahe.

English:

The monkey thought quickly to save himself.

He told the crocodile that he would happily give his heart to the wife.

But he said he had forgotten his heart on the tree.
