एक बकरी ने कहा, "अगर हम लड़ेंगे, तो हम पानी में गिर सकते हैं।

दूसरी बकरी ने सहमति जताई।

आओ, मिलकर काम करें," उसने कहा।

Translation:

Ek bakri ne kaha, "Agar hum ladenge, to hum paani mein gir sakte hain.

Doosri bakri ne sahmati jatayi.

Aao, milkar kaam karein," usne kaha.

English:

One goat said, "If we fight, we might fall in the water".

The second goat agreed.

Let’s work together," he said.

Translation:

Pehli bakri ke paas ek chaalak vichar aaya.

Usne kaha, "Tum mere upar chalkar paar kar sakti ho.

Doosri bakri muskurayi aur boli, "Yeh to acchi yojana hai!

English:

The first goat had a clever idea.

He said, "You can walk over me to cross".

The second goat smiled and said, "That’s a good plan!

दूसरी बकरी के पार जाने के बाद पहली बकरी उठ गई।

वह पुल के दूसरी ओर चलने लगी।

अब दोनों बकरियाँ वहाँ जा सकती थीं जहाँ वे जाना चाहती थीं।

Translation:

Doosri bakri ke paar jaane ke baad pehli bakri uth gayi.

Vah pul ke doosri or chalne lagi.

Ab dono bakriyan wahan ja sakti thin jahan ve jana chahti thin.

English:

The first goat got up after the second goat crossed.

He started walking to the other side of the bridge.

Now both goats could go where they wanted.
