बकरियों ने एक-दूसरे को धक्का देना शुरू कर दिया।

वे और ज़ोर से बहस करने लगे।

जल्द ही, वे अपना संतुलन खो बैठीं।

Translation:

Bakriyon ne ek-doosre ko dhakka dena shuru kar diya.

Ve aur zor se behas karne lage.

Jald hi, ve apna santulan kho baithin.

English:

The goats started pushing each other.

They argued louder and louder.

Soon, they lost their balance.

दोनों बकरियाँ फिसल गईं और नदी में गिर पड़ीं।

छपाक! वे दोनों पानी में चली गईं।

बकरियाँ तैर नहीं सकती थीं, और वे डूब गईं।

Translation:

Dono bakriyan fisal gayin aur nadi mein gir padin.

Chhapaak! Ve dono paani mein chali gayin.

Bakriyan tair nahin sakti thin, aur ve doob gayin.

English:

The two goats slipped and fell into the river.

Splash! They both went into the water.

The goats couldn’t swim, and they drowned.

कुछ समय बाद, दो और बकरियाँ पुल पर आईं।

एक बकरी बाईं ओर जाना चाहती थी।

दूसरी दाईं ओर जाना चाहती थी।

Translation:

Kuch samay baad, do aur bakriyan pul par aayin.

Ek bakri baayin or jana chahti thi.

Doosri daayin or jana chahti thi.

English:

After some time, two more goats came to the bridge.

One goat wanted to go to the left side.

The other wanted to go to the right side.

पहली बकरी ने कहा, "पहले मुझे जाने दो!

दूसरी बकरी ने जवाब दिया, "नहीं, पहले मुझे जाना चाहिए!

लेकिन इस बार, उन्होंने लड़ने के बजाय सोचने का फैसला किया।

Translation:

Pehli bakri ne kaha, "Pehle mujhe jaane do!

Doosri bakri ne jawab diya, "Nahin, pehle mujhe jana chahiye!

Lekin is baar, unhone ladne ke bajay sochne ka faisla kiya.

English:

The first goat said, "Let me go first!

The second goat replied, "No, I should go first!

But this time, they decided to think instead of fight.
