जैसे ही दौड़ शुरू हुई, खरगोश जितनी तेज़ हो सकता था दौड़ा।

उसे पूरा विश्वास था कि वही जीतेगा।

कछुआ बहुत पीछे रह गया।

Translation:

Jaise hi daud shuru hui, khargosh jitni tez ho sakta tha dauda.

Use poora vishvaas tha ki vahi jeetega.

Kachhua bahut peeche reh gaya।

English:

As soon as the race started, the hare ran as fast as he could.

He was very confident he would win.

The tortoise was left far behind.

वह न रुका और न ही धीमे होने से दुखी हुआ।

वह बस फिनिश लाइन की ओर बढ़ता रहा।

Translation:

Kachhua dheere-dheere ek-ek kadam chal raha tha.

Vah na ruka aur na hi dheeme hone se dukhi hua.

Vah bas finish line ki aur badhta raha.

English:

The tortoise moved slowly, step by step.

He didn’t stop or feel sad about being slow.

He just kept going toward the finish line.

खरगोश कुछ दूर दौड़ा और फिर पीछे मुड़ा।

खरगोश मुस्कराया और सोचा, “मेरे पास बहुत समय है जीतने के लिए।”

Translation:

Khargosh kuch door dauda aur phir peeche muda.

Use kachhua kahin nahi dikha.

Khargosh muskaraaya aur socha, "Mere paas bahut samay hai jeetne ke liye.

English:

The hare ran for a while and then looked back.

He didn’t see the tortoise anywhere.

Khargosh ko ek chhayadaar ped dikha aur usne aaram karne ka socha.

Use paas mein gaajar ka khet dikha.

Usne ek gaajar khai aur phir jhapki lene ke liye let gaya.

English:

The hare saw a shady tree and decided to rest.

He noticed a field full of carrots nearby.

He ate a carrot, then laid down to take a nap.
