Translation:

Bandar ne rotee lee aur use do tukadon mein kaat diya.

Bandar ne tukade uthae aur kaha, “chalo dekhate hain ki ye baraabar hain ya nahin”.

Lekin ek tukda doosre se bada tha.

English:

The monkey took the bread and cut it into two pieces.

The monkey raised the pieces and said, “Let’s see if they’re even”.

But one piece was bigger than the other.

Translation:

Kaali billi chillai, "Safed billi ka tukda bada hai!"

Bandar ne kaha, "Chinta mat karo, main theek kar deta hoon."

Usane bade tukade ko baraabar karane ke lie usamen se ek nivaala liya.

English:

The black cat shouted, “The white cat’s piece is bigger!”

The monkey said, “Don’t worry, I’ll fix it”.

He took a bite from the larger piece to make it more equal.

The monkey took a bite from that piece too.

The cats watched as the monkey kept eating small bites.

English:

The monkey kept nibbling until there was no bread left.

The cats realized they had nothing to eat anymore.

The monkey laughed and climbed up a tree.
