Translation:

Ek samay ki baat hai, do billiyan ek jangal mein rehti thin.

Ek billi kali thi, aur doosri safed thi.

English:

Once upon a time, two cats lived in a forest.

One cat was black, and the other was white.

They were best friends who played and ate together every day.

Translation:

Ek din, do billiyaan khaane ki talaash mein baahar gayin.

Unhone har jagah khoja lekin khaane ke liye kuch nahi mila.

Kaali aur safed dono billiyaan bahut bhookhi thi.

English:

One day, the two cats went out to look for food.

They searched everywhere but couldn’t find anything to eat.

Both the black and white cats were very hungry.

“चलो भोजन की तलाश में गाँव में चलते हैं,” सफेद बिल्ली ने सुझाव दिया।

काली बिल्ली ने विचार स्वीकार कर लिया और दोनों गाँव की ओर चल पड़े।

Translation:

Safed billee ke dimaag mein ek vichaar aaya.

"Chalo bhojan ki talaash me jaanv chalte hain," safed billi ne sujhav diya.

Kaalee billee ne vichaar sveekaar kar liya aur donon gaanv kee or chal pade.

English:

The white cat had an idea.

“Let’s go to the village to find food,” the white cat suggested.

The black cat accepted the idea, and both set out toward the village.

Translation:

Jab ve gaav ki galiyon se guzar rahe the, to unhein roti ka ek tukda mila.

Dono billiyan aakhirkaar khana paakar bahut khush hueen.

Lekin ve use baantne ke bajay jhagadne lageen.

English:

As they walked through the village streets, they found a piece of bread.

Both cats were very happy to finally find food.

However, they began to argue rather than share it.
