Le crocodile dit au singe que sa femme aimait beaucoup les fruits qu’il avait donnés.

Il invita ensuite le singe à leur rendre visite.

Le singe était heureux et accepta d’accompagner le crocodile.

English:

The crocodile told the monkey that his wife loved the fruits given by the monkey very much.

He then invited the monkey to visit them.

The monkey was happy and agreed to go with the crocodile.

Le singe s’assit sur le dos du crocodile, et au fur et à mesure qu’ils s’enfonçaient dans la rivière, le singe commença à avoir peur.

Il demanda au crocodile pourquoi ils allaient aussi loin.

Le crocodile ne répondit pas tout de suite.

English:

The Monkey sat on the Crocodile’s back, and as they went deeper into the river, the monkey started to feel scared.

He asked the crocodile why they were going so deep.

The crocodile didn’t answer right away.

Le crocodile sourit et révéla son plan secret au singe.

Il dit que sa femme voulait le cœur du singe.

Le singe avait peur mais resta calme.

English:

The crocodile smiled and told the monkey his secret plan.

He said his wife wanted the monkey’s heart.

The monkey was scared but stayed calm.

Action: Le singe raconte au crocodile qu’il a oublié son cœur sur l’arbre

Monkey telling the crocodile about his heart which he forgot on the tree

Le singe réfléchit vite pour se sauver.

Il dit au crocodile qu’il donnerait volontiers son cœur à sa femme.

Mais il ajouta qu’il avait oublié son cœur sur l’arbre.

Translation:

English:

The monkey thought quickly to save himself.

He told the crocodile that he would happily give his heart to the wife.

But he said he had forgotten his heart on the tree.
