Translation:

Ghara purana lag raha tha lekin mazboot tha, us ki satah waqt aur mausam se ghis chuki thi.

Kawa ghray ke kinare par utra aur tawazun ke liye apnay par pharpharane laga.

Thakan bhari talaash ke baad, us ki tez nazron mein ghray mein paani ki umeed chamaknay lagi.

English:

The pot looked old but sturdy, its surface worn by time and weather.

The crow landed on the pot’s rim, flapping his wings for balance.

After a tiring search, his sharp eyes gleamed with hope for water in the pot.

Translation:

Jab kawa gharay ke andar jhaanka, to us ne thora sa paani dekha.

Phir bhi woh usay dekh kar khush hua.

Lekin paani itna neeche tha ke woh pee nahi sakta tha.

English:

When the crow looked inside the pot, he saw only a small amount of water.

He was still glad to find it.

But the water was too low for him to drink.

Woh thak gaya aur aik qatra bhi na pee saka.

English:

The crow put his beak into the pot, trying to reach the water.

However, the water was too far down.

He got exhausted and couldn’t drink even a single drop.

Phir us ne faisla kiya ke woh masla hal karne ke liye kankriyaan istamaal karega.

English:

The crow looked around and noticed some pebbles on the ground.
