सर्दी जल्दी आ गई और सब कुछ बर्फ से ढक गया।

हरी घास गायब हो गई।

हॉपी ठंड से काँपते हुए खाना ढूँढ़ने लगा।

Translation:

Sardi jaldi aa gayi aur sab kuch barf se dhak gaya.

Hari ghaas gayab ho gayi.

Hoppy thand se kaampte hue khaana dhoondhne laga.

English:

Winter came fast and covered everything in frost.

The green grass was gone.

Hoppy felt shivered as he looked for food.

उसने चारों ओर देखा लेकिन कहीं खाना नहीं मिला।

उसका पेट जोर से गुर्राया।

Translation:

Hoppy ko thand aur kamzori mehsoos hui.

Usne chaaron or dekha lekin kahin khaana nahin mila.

Uska pet zor se gurraaya.

English:

Hoppy felt cold and weak.

He looked all around but couldn’t find any food.

His stomach growled loudly.

अंदर वह गरम और सुरक्षित थी।

उसके पास बहुत सारा खाना था।

Translation:

Hoppy ne barf mein ek chhote se chhed se Annie ka ghar dekha.

Andar vah garam aur surakshit thi.

Uske paas bahut saara khaana tha.

English:

Hoppy saw Annie’s home through a small crack in the snow.

Inside, she was warm and safe.

She had lots of food around her.

ऐनी, क्या तुम मुझसे थोड़ा खाना बाँट सकती हो?" उसने पूछा।

उसकी आवाज़ काँप रही थी।

Translation:

Hoppy ne dheere se Annie ke darwaze par dastak di.

Annie, kya tum mujhse thoda khaana baant sakti ho?" usne poochha.

Uski awaaz kaamp rahi thi.

English:

Hoppy knocked softly on Annie’s door.

“Annie, can you share some food with me?” he asked.

His voice was trembling.
