Add ten’s place i.e., 9 + 0 = 9.
Write 1 in the ten’s place.

Step 1c

Add hundred’s place i.e., 8 + 2 = 10.
Now there is no carryover and we can directly write 10 in the hundredth’s column.

Therefore, the sum of 890 + 200 = 1090.
