A pattern has 45 blue triangles to every 63 yellow triangles. What is the ratio of yellow triangles to blue triangles?

Number of blue triangles = 45
Number of yellow triangles = 63
Ratio of yellow triangles to blue triangles = 63:45 = 7:5

Explanation: In the above problem,the number of blue triangles is 45,the number of yellow triangles is 63. Ratio of yellow triangles to blue triangles is 7:5

Noah drew 22 hearts and 40 circles. What is the ratio of circles to all shapes?

Number of heart shapes = 22
Number of circle shapes = 40
Total number of shapes = 22 + 40 = 62
Ratio of circles to all shapes = 40 : 62 = 20 : 31
