Inheritance of Rs.3500 must be shared between two brothers in the ratio 2:3.Calculate how much each person must receive.

Total money = Rs.3500
Two brothers has shared in the ratio = 2:3
Frist person = \$2/5 \times 3500 = Rs.1400\$
Second person = \$3/5 \times 3500 = Rs.2100\$

Explanation: In the above problem,Total money is Rs.3500,two brothers has to be shared in the ratio is 2:3and Frist person receive is \$2/5 \times 3500 = Rs.1400\$,Second person receive \$3/5 \times 3500 = Rs.2100\$

Father’s age is 75 years and the daughter’s age is 25 years. Find the ratio of father’s age to daughter’s age.

Father’s age = 75
Daughter age = 25
Ratio of father’s age to daughter age = \$75/25 = 3/1 = 3:1\$

Explanation: In the above problem,Father’s age is 75and daughter age is 25.Ratio of father’s age to daughter age is 3:1.
