The donkey is very lazy. As the name signifies, the lazy donkey in the story always tries to find ways to avoid doing any work. He would often lie down in the shade and refuse to move, no matter how much his owner tried to pull him along. But in the end, the donkey learns the value of hard work and becomes loyal to its owner. |

He was a merchant who had to transport his goods to faraway markets. He primarily used to sell salt.He used a donkey which was lazy, to carry the salt on his back. He taught a valuable lesson to his donkey, who often played tricks to avoid work. |
