Given the side of a triangle = 12cm

Area of an equilateral triangle = \$√3/4\$ a² square units

=\$√3/4 \times 12 \times 12\$ = \$√3/4 \times 144\$

=\$√3 \times \cancel(144)^(36) /(\cancel4^1)\$ = \$1.73 \times 36\$

=62.28 sq.cm
