Definition: Perimeter of Traiangle |
|
The perimeter of a triangle is the sum of all its sides. A triangle with three equal sides and three congruent angles is known as an equilateral triangle. A triangle with two equal sides is known as an isosceles triangle. A triangle in which all the sides have different lengths is known as a scalene triangle. |

Explanation: To find a triangle’s perimeter, add up its side lengths (a, b, c). For an equilateral triangle, multiply one side by 3. For isosceles triangles, add 2 times the length of one side (a) to find the third side (c). Remember, a, b, and c are side lengths. |
