Definition: Volume(3D) |
|
Volume is defined as the space occupied within the boundaries of an object in three-dimensional space. It is also known as the capacity of the object. The volume is expressed in cubic units, such as cubic centimeters (cm³), cubic meters (m³), cubic inches (in³), or cubic feet (ft³), depending on the unit system used. Since different three-dimensional objects have different shapes, their volumes are also variable. Let us look at some three-dimensional shapes and learn how to calculate their volume(V). |
