Divide 50 ÷ 5

  • 5 is divisible by 5 since, 5 × 10 = 5. we go for it.

  • Subtract 50 - 50 = 0 and write 10 in quotient..

  • Therefore the quotient = 10. and the remainder is 0.

Explanation: Here, the first digit of the dividend is 4, 4 is divisible by 4. Subtract 4 - 4 = 0 and write quotient is 10.
