  • 27 is divisible by 3 since, 3 × 9 = 27.we go for it.

  • subtract 27- 27 = 0 and write 9 in quotient.

Explanation: Here, the first digit of the dividend is 27, 27 is divisible by 3. Subtract 27 - 27 = 0 and write quotient is 9.

  • Therefore the quotient = 9 and the remainder is 0
