Step 1b

Subtract the like terms

Explanation:

\$(b + 3c) − (2c + 6b)\$

\$=> b + 3c − 2c - 6b\$

\$=> (b - 6b) + (3c - 2c)\$

\$=> (1 - 6)b + (3 - 2)c\$

\$=> -5b + c\$
