ADD 1769 + 625

Add digits in ones place value or from the right.

Explanation: 9, 5 are the ones place values i.e, 9 + 5 = 14. Place the 4 under the ones place in answer column and carrying value 1 is tens place.

Step 1b

Then add the tens place value.

Explanation: 6, 2 is the tens place value. Add tens place value and carry forward value is 1 i.e, 6 + 2 + 1 = 9. Place the 9 under the tens place column.

Add the hundred place numbers.

Explanation: 7, 6 is the hundreds place value. Add hundreds place values i.e, 7 + 6 = 13. Place the 3 under the hundreds place column and place the 1 above 1.

Finally the add the thousands place numbers, sum of 1769 + 625 will be 2394.
