ADD 1204 + 315

Add digits in ones place value or from the right.

Explanation: 4 , 5 are the ones place values i.e, 4 + 5 = 9 Place the 9 under the ones place in answer column.

Step 1b

Then add the tens place value.

Explanation: 0 , 1 is the tens place value. Add tens place value i.e, 0 + 1 = 1. Place the 1 value in tens place of answer column.

Step 1c

Add the hundred place numbers.

Explanation: 2 , 3 is the hundreds place value. Add hundreds place value i.e, 2 + 3 = 5. Place the 5 value in hundredth place of answer column.

Step 1d

Finally the add the thousands place numbers, sum of 1204 + 315 will be 1519.
