Add 885 + 62

Aarrange the numbers according to their place values.

Start adding the numbers from ones to right i.e., 5 + 2 = 7.

Step 1b

Now we add the tens digit i.e., 8 + 6 = 14. Write down 4 in the tens column and carry 1 to the hundreds column.

Step 1c

After this ,add the digits in hundreds columni.e., 1 + 8 = 9.

After adding both the columns we get, 885 + 62 = 947.
