Add 769 and 37

Step 1a

Add 769 + 37

Aarrange the numbers according to their place values.

Start adding the numbers from ones to right i.e., 7 + 9 = 16.

Explanation: Add the digits in the ones place (7 + 9 = 16). Write down 6 in the ones column.

Step 1b

Now we add the tens digit i.e., 6 + 3 = 9 and adding the 1.

Write down 0 in the tens column and carry 1 to the hundreds column.

Explanation: Add digits in the tens place ( 6 + 3 = 9). Write down 9 in the tens colum.

Step 1c

After this ,add the digits in hundreds columni.e.,7 + 1 = 8.

After adding both the columns we get, 769 + 37 = 806.
