ADD 425 + 24

Add digits in ones place value or from the right.

Explanation: 5 , 4 are the ones place values i.e, 5 + 4 = 9. Place the 9 under the ones place in answer column.

Step 1b

Then add the tens place value.

Explanation: 2 , 2 is the tens place value. Add tens place value i.e, 2 + 2 = 4.

Finally the add the hundred place numbers, sum of 425 + 24 will be 449.
