Add 500 and 50

Step 1a

Add 500 + 50

Aarrange the numbers according to their place values.

Start adding the numbers from ones to right i.e., 0 + 0 = 0.

Step 1b

Now we add the tens digit i.e., 0 + 5 = 5.Write down 5 in the tens column.

Step 1c

After this , add the digits in hundreds column i.e., 5 + 0 = 5.

After adding both the columns we get, 500 + 50 = 550.
