Add 28 and 3

Add digits in ones place value or from the right.

Explanation: 8 , 3 are the ones place values i.e, 8 + 3 = 11 13 is larger than ten so you have to regroup or carry. Place the 3 under the ones place column and place the 1 above 2

Then add the tens place value.

Finally the sum of 28 + 3 will be 31.
