Like adjectives, many adverbs also have degrees of comparison. The three degrees of comparison are positive, comparative, and superlative.

Some adverbs form the comparative degree by adding -er and the superlative degree by adding -est.
Most adverbs that end in -/y form their comparative degrees by adding the word more or less in front of the positive degree.
The superlative degree is formed by adding the word most or least in front of the positive degree.
