Lord Indra and all the gods panicked and went to Lord Vishnu for help. Lord Indra pleaded with Lord Vishnu to help them to stop Asuras from occupying Heaven. Lord Vishnu then advised them to drink Amrutha(nectar), which gives the Gods immortality and strength to defeat demons.
