Later Lord Shiva ordered his helpers to bring the head of an infant, whose mother was sleeping with her, back to the infant.
The helpers searched for such an infant throughout the day but could not find any except for a baby elephant.

As Lord Shiva also could not find any other possible way he put the elephant’s head on Ganesha’s body and breathed life into it.

Goddess Parvathi was happy but hesitated that in the future, some might demean Little Ganesha because of this different form.
