In every sentence, the verbs must agree in tense (past, present, future, etc.), mood (indicative, imperative, or subjunctive), and number (singular or plural).

The voice of the sentence must also be internally consistent.

Daniel had spent the entire day watching TV; her sister felt that the entire day had been wasted by her.

Correct sentence: Daniel had spent the entire day watching TV; her sister felt that she had wasted the entire day.
