Step-5

Title: Solve

Grade: 7-b Lesson: S5-L9

Explanation: Hello Students, time to practice and review the steps for the problem.

Lesson Steps

Steps Problem Solution

1

Solve

\$ \sqrt{\frac{x + 3}{3x - 2}} = 7 \$

2

Apply square on both sides

\$ (\sqrt{\frac{x + 3}{3x - 2}})^2 = (7)^2 \$

3

After canceling square and squareroot

\$ \frac{x + 3}{3x - 2} = 49 \$

4

Move \$ {3x - 2} \$ to right side

\$ x + 3 = 49(3x - 2) = 147x - 98 \$

5

Move variables to left side

\$ x - 147x = -98 - 3 \$

6

After simplification

\$ -146x = -101 \$

7

Dividing on both sides by '\$-146\$' of the equality

\$ \cancel(-146)/\cancel(-146)x = \cancel(-)/\cancel(-) (101/146) \$

8

After cancelation

\$ x = 101/146 \$

9

Answer

A = \$ x = 101/146 \$
